The burden of Hope...

As satisfied as I am to see the results of the election, I can't help but think about the magnitude of the challenge ahead of us as a people - two wars, a financial system that's a mess, and an imminent long and deep recession. That said, there is no more American theme than the idea of pulling yourself by your own bootstraps; we are a stubborn, self-determined people.

Here's to four years of heavy lifting and hard pulling...
